Salt applies the rule of ‘First come, first served’, or ‘FCFS’. In general, orders for iPhones are delivered in the sequence they were received. Waiting times can also vary due to the technical specifications of the model chosen (colour and GB of memory)


No. Our iPhones are sold without a SIM lock.

Simply log onto or call 0800 700 078 to see if you are eligible for an upgrade. If you are, you can renew your contract and order your new iPhone.

The new iPhone works with a Nano SIM card. If you already own one, simply use it with your new iPhone. If you own an older format (Micro or Mini SIM card), just swap it in one of our Salt Stores or on "My Account". We do not recommend cutting it by yourself.
