Manage my subscription.

My consumption

You can:

  • Prevent auto synchronisation of your apps:
    Android: Settings > Accounts > More > click on "Turn off auto sync".
    Apple: Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
  • Restrict Operational System update to WiFi only:
    Android: Settings > About device > Software update > activate "WiFi only".
    Apple: Settings > iTunes and App Stores > uncheck "Use Cellular Data".
  • Restrict applications updates to WiFi only:
    Android: Playstore > Settings > click on "Auto-update apps" > select "Auto-update apps over WiFi only".
    Apple: Settings > iTunes and App Stores > uncheck "Use Cellular Data".
    If you’re worried about costs, we suggest you change your subscription to Plus

Adapt my subscription

Contact Customer Service at 0800 700 700.
Note that changing a mobile phone number costs CHF 99.95 to cover the administrative costs.

My voicemail

You can temporarily disable your voicemail – for example, if you travel and want to avoid roaming costs – by tapping ##002# or ##004# on your smartphone keyboard, then press the call button.

Note that callers won’t be able to leave messages during this time but you will get notifications by SMS to show who or which number has called you.

To reactivate it tap **004*086x # from your smartphone keyboard, then press call button (x is your mobile number. For example, if your number is 078 123 45 67, tap: **004*0860781234567#).

In Switzerland:

  • With your mobile phone:
    Call your own number then follow the instructions
  • With another phone
    1. Call 086 followed by your phone number (example 086 078 000 99 11)
    2. During the welcome message press * and your password will be asked
    3. If you haven't defined a password, or if you enter three times the wrong one, you will receive a new one per SMS.
    4. Then follow the instructions.
      From abroad:
    5. Call +4186 followed by your phone number (example +4186 078 000 99 11)
    6. During the welcome message press * and your password will be asked
    7. If you haven't defined a password, or if you enter three times the wrong one, you will receive a new one per SMS.
    8. Then follow the instructions.

To access your Voicemail see "How do I listen to my Voicemail messages?"

  1. Type 3 (menu configuration)
  2. Type 1 (menu change password)
  3. Follow the instructions

Your Voicemail is already set up by default on your customer profile. You only need to add a welcome greeting and a password by calling your own number and following the instructions.

Your Voicemail will work normally. See question "How do I deactivate my Voicemail and reactivate it again?"

Yes, you can use Visual Voicemail in roaming mode. Please note that data roaming costs apply. Indication:
1 minute is around 100 KB (10 minutes are about 1MB). Not contractual.

My Account

Download the form "Change of ownership of mobile number" on the Legal information page, complete it together with the current owner, then return it to us, including copies of the required IDs, using our form. You may also submit the documents in any Salt store.

On an Android smartphone or an iPhone

  1. Open your web browser
  2. Go to myaccount.salt.ch
  3. Create a shortcut to “My Account” on your mobile phone:
    • Android → Click on the browser menu in the upper screen bar (three vertical dots)
    • iPhone → Select the icon “Share” in the middle of the lower screen bar
  4. Select the option “Add to Home Screen”.
  5. A dialog window will open where you can rename the icon. Then confirm by clicking on “Add”.
  6. Now the icon displays on your smartphone's home screen. The first time you access from your mobile phone, you will need to enter your login credentials. They will be stored on the browser cookies.

For username:
Go to forgot username

For password:
Go to forgot password

Please note that the password must contain three of the four following elements:

  • Upper case letter
  • Lower case letter
  • Number
  • Special characters . + - _ ? ! $
  • No spaces

SIM card lost or stolen

Block your SIM card and order new one:

  • Visit My Account → Usage → More useful functions (wrench icon) → Block number. You also have the possibility to order a new SIM card there, or
  • Call our customer care service on 0800 700 700 or from abroad on +41 78 700 70 00 (chargeable) and request the SIM card to be blocked.

Important: The SIM card can only be unlocked through our customer care service. Only the contract owner is entitled to request unblocking of the SIM card.
