Replay FAQ
How can you activate the Replay option?
You can activate your preferred Replay option instantly in the Salt TV app on your TV Box (Shop TV section), or in your MySalt customer area.
What is the difference between the Replay 7 days option and the Replay 7 days Max option?
Since 2022, following a new industry agreement, some channels display new mandatory advertising screens when a replay program is watched.
The Replay 7 days option allows you to enjoy 7 days of replay, without being able to skip these new mandatory advertising screens.
The Replay 7 days Max option allows you to enjoy 7 days of replay and skip these new mandatory advertising screens.
What are the new advertising screens on the affected channels?
Three new advertising formats have been introduced:
- Start Ads: 30-second ad shown at the beginning of a replayed program.
- FFW Ads (Fast Forward): approximately 130-second ad shown when fast-forwarding a replayed program during an ad break.
- Pause Ads: advertising image displayed when a live or replayed program is paused.
