Adjustment of SIM-only Mobile Plan Prices as of June 1, 2026

Salt will adjust the prices of selected mobile plans by CHF 1 to CHF 2 per month, effective June 1, 2026. This moderate adjustment allows us to continue investing in what matters most to our customers: a fast, reliable network and high-quality services. At the same time, Salt will further enhance its roaming offering, also starting on June 1, 2026. 

Which offers are affected?

The adjustment applies to SIM-only mobile plans (ref list below). Device bundles and PrePay remain unchanged. Affected customers will be informed directly.

Starting June 1: an even better roaming experience worldwide

Based on customer feedback, Salt will significantly enhance its roaming offering to provide greater value, flexibility and ease of use. Good news: the Europe roaming zone will be expanded to cover the entire EU, including destinations such as Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia – at no extra cost for customers with eligible plans. Salt will also introduce more flexible and affordable data packs. Customers will be able to choose between 1-week, 1-month, or 1-year packs. In addition, Salt is enhancing its worldwide roaming offers, including popular travel destinations such as the USA, Canada, Japan, and Thailand. Salt will communicate full details before launch.

Over the past ten years, the company has invested around CHF 2.5 billion to further enhance its mobile network and services. This means customers benefit from fast connectivity, strong coverage, personal support in more than 110 Salt stores across Switzerland, and free access to customer care whenever they need it.

With data usage per customer having surged by 50% over the past five years, Salt continues to invest in its network and services to ensure every customer enjoys a seamless, high-speed experience, regardless of their price plan.

Still outstanding value

Even after this modest adjustment, Salt’s mobile plans remain highly attractive and continue to offer incredible value for money, even more so when combined with mobile and home services. The Salt Home broadband internet and TV subscriptions featuring 10 Gbit/s technology are not affected by this adjustment. They remain available to Salt Mobile customers at its historically low price starting at CHF 39.95/month until at least 2028.
