Welcome Haleon

First steps

SIM card

To change the SIM card:

  • Save your contacts on your device.
  • Insert the SIM card on the port-in date.
  • Enter the PIN code (if prompted).

If you are using two SIM cards, make sure to configure the cards as you wish (main and secondary card).

eSim activation

Before starting, make sure that your device has access to the internet. It can be over a Wifi network or if a Nano SIM is active in the device you can use the mobile data access. This internet access is required to download the eSIM profile on the iPhone.

In case of SIM swap from a Salt Nano SIM to a Salt eSIM, don’t forget to remove the deactivated Nano SIM. If you keep the Nano SIM in the device, the iPhone will try to use this Nano SIM to connect to the Salt Network and this will not work since the Nano SIM has been deactivated. The activated eSIM can be downloaded over a Wifi network.

Good to know

What is VoLTE?

With VoLTE (Voice over LTE), you make calls via the 4G network (LTE network) and use the new mobile telephony standard as well as the strongest connection. Consequently, your calls will have an impeccable sound quality and you will enjoy an ultra-fast connection. For optimal sound quality, please make sure that VoLTE is activated in your smartphone settings.

What can Wi-Fi calls be used for?

When Wi-Fi calls are activated, you can make calls from any Wi-Fi network in the entire world, e.g. from home or from a hotel abroad. With Wi-Fi calls, you can avoid roaming fees and additional costs when making calls to Switzerland.

We recommend that you use Wi-Fi calls, especially when the coverage of the mobile network is not optimal, e.g. inside of buildings.
