Protect and Protect+ are our mobile insurance policies with worldwide coverage, providing fast and reliable assistance in the event of an incident. These are available when ordering a new device with a Salt Mobile subscription.

How can I submit a claim?

You can submit a claim directly via the dedicated portal.
Subscribers with Apple devices and a Protect or Protect+ subscription can contact Apple Support directly via https://support.apple.com/ or by calling the hotline on 0800 00 1853.
 

What should I do if I have an old Salt Care insurance contract (before 21 April 2026)?

Will my insurance still be valid if I change my phone?

The insured device is the one purchased together with your Protect or Protect+ subscription.

If you buy a new device with your Salt subscription later and keep your Protect or Protect+ insurance, the coverage will automatically transfer to the new device, replacing the previously insured one. 

How can I cancel my Protect or Protect+ option?

The Protect and Protect+ subscriptions are subject to a 24-month contract. You have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 30 days of activation.
