What is the Gigabox ?

The Gigabox is a high-tech combo consisting of an antenna (CPE 5G), to be ideally placed outdoors for optimal reception and throughput. Once placed you just have to insert your SIM card suitable for this product. The second device is a new generation "transmitter" router with the latest standard in Wi-Fi technology (WiFi 6, compatible with all your devices). Once the installation is appropriately done, you will be able to reach with the 5G a speed up to 1Gbit/sec. And we are only at the beginning of this technology's possibilities.

Who was the Gigabox developed for?

We are fully aware that the deployment of the fiber on the Swiss territory takes time, therefore we wanted to give as many people as possible the opportunity to subscribe to our Salt Home offer, the most competitive offer on the market, while waiting for the fiber to be available at your home (moreover the migration from a 5G offer to our fiber offer will be free). How to access this service?

Salt GigaBox is an alternative way to access Salt Home's Internet (up to 1 GB/sec) and TV (Apple TV with +260 channels) services. At the time of purchase, the website will check whether your home is connected to fibre optics and, if so, it will automatically and by default offer you a connection with the latter technology (up to 10 GB/sec). If the fiber is not available in your home, then and only then, you will be offered access to Salt Home via 5G and 4G+ with the Salt GigaBox.
