Salt ropes in Swiss wrestling champion

Dec. 6, 2016

Just in time for the winter season, Salt lifts the veil on the secret of its latest TV spots and simultaneously announces an advertising collaboration with Matthias Glarner who was crowned Swiss wrestling champion at the triennial national wrestling festival which took place in Estavayer-le-Lac earlier this year.

The Bernese athlete who works for the mountain cableways in the ski resort of Meiringen-Hasliberg is the main character in Salt’s TV spots which revolve around typically Swiss winter scenes.

November network update

Dec. 1, 2016

What do Unispital Zürich, the University of Lausanne and Muolen (SG) have in common? Great connection rates and access to Salt’s newest network technology.

The targeted deployment of the low frequency band allows us to offer an even better connection to our customers. The aggregation of low frequencies with existing high frequency bands – this is the definition of the so-called 4G+ technology – permits Salt to offer a distinctly faster transmission rate with a theoretical surf speed of up to 300 MB/s.

Salt's "Very Good" Network Rating Confirmed

Nov. 30, 2016

Europe's leading telecoms magazine, connect, has looked into the performance of Swiss mobile networks. Salt has been awarded a "very good" rating, which validates our investment decisions in the quality of the network - achieving great results in both data and voice metrics.

Within the three-nation cohort under analysis (Austria, Germany, Switzerland), Salt ranks in the top bracket of operators, quite an achievement in light of the challenging topography of our country.

Salt’s priority remains to offer ”best value for money at the highest quality”.  We are just getting started….

Kassensturz: Salt usually offers fastest surf experience in Switzerland!

Nov. 9, 2016

Yesterday‘s “Kassensturz” broadcast is a double delight to us. Whether in a big city, in the countryside, in a provincial town or in a village: the samples made show that Salt usually offers faster surfing than competition does – both at day time and in the evening hours.

This finding also recognizes our investment in the acquisition of new antenna sites and the development and optimization of existing antennas. No wonder, because our motto when it comes to internet connection has always been: full speed ahead!

At Salt our customers surf with a speed of up to 150 Mbit / s. With LTE technology (4G+), maximum velocities of up to 300 Mbit / s can be achieved at selected locations.

More information on the Unlimited Surf offer tested in the Kassensturz-comparison can be found here. Direct link to the comparison table: here.
